Modern concepts of pathogenesis, ethological factors and diagnosis of viral cystitis
This review assesses the state of the art in viral infections and inflammatory bladder diseases, their epidemiology, pathogenesis, and diagnostic features. The search was conducted using Medline, PubMed, and EMBASE. The literature search results indicate that chronic recurrent cystitis (CRC) of viral etiology has been actively discussed and has been presented in the press and searchable databases in recent years. The presented studies focus on diagnostic issues, particularly differential diagnosis between viral pathogens. The objective is to systematize current data on viral cystitis: epidemiology, etiology, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, diagnostic methods, and treatment approaches.Alkhashash A.M.S., Goncharov I.D., Ibishev Kh.S.
