Persistent Mullerian duct syndrome: a case report of a rare late diagnosis

Persistent Mullerian duct syndrome is a rare form of internal male pseudohermaphroditism in which a phenotypic male patient with a 46,XY karyotype has derivatives of the Mullerian ducts, including the uterus, fallopian tubes, and a vaginal outgrowth of the urogenital sinus. A rare clinical case of late diagnosis of persistent Mullerian duct syndrome in a 42-year-old man is presented in the article.
